Vipassana 1 Day Retreat with Jay Saturday 28th of June 2025 | 10:00 - 16:00 Location: 2 Burgh Street, London, N1 8HF You're invited to join a silent mindfulness-based Meditation 1 Day Retreat including an introduction to Vipassana meditation and other meditation techniques. Experience the transformative effects of meditating in a group. Come away with tools that you can use to improve concentration, memory, sleep, compassion and unhealthy habit patterns of the mind, while reducing stress, blood pressure, anxiety and pain. More than that, you will learn how to incorporate meditation into your daily life for sustainable healthy change. There will also be opportunities to ask questions and share reflections. Open to beginners to meditation & experienced practitioners. The retreat is non residential (you arrive in the morning and leave in the afternoon). Timetable (sample) ​10:00 - arrival 10:00 - 11:00 - meditation 11:00 - 11:15 - break 11:15 - 12:15 - meditation 12:15 - 13:45 - lunch 13:45 - 14:45 - meditation 14:45 - 15:00 - break 15:00 - 16:00 - meditation Please wear comfortable clothes that will not distract anyone (and avoid wearing perfume/ aftershave as this can distract other participants) and bring a vegetarian lunch. Jay, a certified Yoga, Meditation and Pilates teacher, spent most of the last 20 years teaching and volunteering in meditation centres all over the world. He brought the techniques back here to where he opened The Vipassana Centre and The Yoga Studio London.
