Vipassana One Day Retreat with Jay Date: Saturday 15th of November 2025 | 10:30 AM – 4:00 PM Location: 2 Burgh Street, London, N1 8HF For: Beginners who are curious to discover Vipassana meditation, as well as more experienced practitioners looking to progress in their practice. You're invited to join a silent mindfulness-based meditation one day retreat including an introduction to Vipassana and other meditation techniques. Experience the profound impact of meditating in a group and learn tools to enhance your concentration, memory, sleep, compassion, and break unhealthy mental patterns. All this while reducing stress, blood pressure, anxiety, and pain. More importantly, you’ll learn how to integrate meditation into your daily routine for sustainable, healthy change. There will be opportunities to ask questions, reflect, and share experiences in a supportive environment. Please note: The retreat is non-residential—you arrive in the morning and leave in the afternoon. Sample timetable: 10:30 – 11:30 – Meditation 11:30 – 11:45 – Break 11:45 – 12:45 – Meditation 12:45 – 14:15 – Lunch (please bring a vegetarian lunch or plan to eat nearby) 14:15 – 15:15 – Meditation 15:15 – 16:00 – Practice instructions & questions 16:00 – End Jay Leaf, a certified teacher in Yoga, Meditation, and Pilates, spent over 20 years teaching and volunteering in meditation centres all over the world. He brought these transformative techniques back home, where he opened The Vipassana Centre and Pilates Yoga Home with his wife Emilie.
